Music with Mrs. Berry

Hello & Welcome to Music at Gatesville Primary! I am Vicki Berry and it is my joy to bring the wide world of music to your child.
 
I have been teaching music at Gatesville Primary for 17 years now and have taught music for a total of 26 years.  I am a graduate of Permian High School in Odessa, TX and West Texas A & M University in Canyon, TX. I have taught piano and flute, directed church choirs-both children and adults, played in and directed hand bell choirs. I play the piano, flute, organ, guitar & ukulele. I love to sing, play my instruments and teach music.
 
I currently live in Crawford, TX with my husband, Kent Berry. I have three grown children: Bethany, she has two sons-Gareth & Benny; Ben & his wife Callye, they have one daughter-Blaze; and Brittany & her husband Trent, they have two daughters-Leighton & Mackenzie and one son-Luke.
 
In music, we learn to sing all kinds of songs, play pitched & unpitched rhythm instruments, learn to move to all kinds of music in a musical way and to be expressive with our bodies to the music.
 
It is my pleasure and honor to teach Music to your child. I also work along side the classroom teachers with Inclusion and Intervention giving me more opportunities to make a difference in the life of a child.
