An important goal of Gatesville ISD is that parents, community members and educators be active partners in the education of our students. We encourage parents to discuss with the campus principal opportunities for parent/community involvement and volunteering opportunities at each campus.

Parent Teacher Organization
JOIN the Gatesville Primary PTO, a group of parents and teachers that work together for the benefit of a school and the children being educated here. As a member, you also become part of the GISD Education Foundation, which supports innovative classroom teaching, inspires learning in new directions, and maximizes academic opportunities for Gatesville ISD students. Box Tops For Education
You can collect box tops to help raise money for the Gatesville Primary School. Just go to http://www.boxtops4education.com/ for participating products. It's easy, just purchase items with the Box Top logo, cut the logo off, and send it to school with your child. Each logo turned in pays our school $.10. You can see how the money can really add up to great benefits for your child's school!
School Store Fundraiser

Did you Hear about Our School Store Fundraiser? Over 400 merchants, including Sears, Target and Walmart.com, have joined together to offer up to 50% of sales to our school for shopping through SchoolStore.com. To shop and support our school, simply go to www.schoolstore.com and select our school. Participation is key in helping get the word out about our School Store. Thank you for your support of our school.
Just a Friendly Reminder.....
If your Primary student has missed days due to illness, trips, etc., please be sure to send a note or make a phone call notifying the front office of the reason for the absence. Letters regarding absences and truancies go home each Friday and if your child receives one, please read it and check your child's attendance.
